Core Values:
Our Vision:
To develop kingdom-minded students who serve others and are eagerly anticipating the next level
of their spiritual journeys.
Our philosophy of ministry. . .
We strive to be biblically based, which means that we recognize that Scripture is our final authority and source of truth.
We endeavor to be culturally relevant and sensitive, which means we do our best to understand and honor the culture
and people that we are serving, and to communicate through the model of incarnation as Christ did with us.
We make every effort to minister to others’ needs through word and deed, from the practical to the spiritual.
Our philosophy of missions . . .
Missions and evangelism are primarily a result of a personal vibrant faith in which we pass on through our example and our
words the good news which has changed our lives.
Our goal of evangelism and missions is to develop committed disciples of Christ.
Love is the most important ingredient in missions, love that’s demonstrated through humble servanthood.
Our responsibility in missions is to present a clear message; we leave the results to God.
The message stays the same, but the means changes with the times and the culture.
Everyone who is a follower of Jesus Christ is called to missions regardless of where that is.
Short term mission trips need to be integrated into the overall process of spiritual formation, not just as an event participated in,
but as a catalyst to developing of a lifestyle of being more committed to global ministries.
Our philosophy of social justice and environmentalism . . .
As Christians, we are called to make a difference in the world as both salt and Light.
Our redemptive mission includes social transformation as well as evangelism.
God has called us to be stewards of His creation, which means we actively participate in its renewal and ongoing care.
When we minister to those that are disadvantaged or in need, we are ministering to Christ.
Our core values . . .
The passion to know, love, and become like Jesus Christ.
The truth and sufficiency of the Scriptures for the whole of life.
The transforming power of the Gospel.
The leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit.
The dignity and value of every person.
Interdependent relationships in the Body of Christ in advancing the Gospel.
Our Statement of Faith:
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is authoritative and infallible in the original writings.
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the Father, and in His personal return in
power and glory.
We believe that faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is essential for the salvation of lost and sinful man.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and eternal life.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Jesus Christ.
