Rome, Venice, and Paris - 9 Days
Day 1
Journey to Europe. Board your overnight flight and arrive in Rome the next morning.
Day 2
Begin to explore the many sites in the Eternal City of Rome! Our time will be spent visiting the 2000 year-old Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, the Arch of Titus, the ancient Roman Forum, and the Mammertine Prison. Travel to the famous Trevi Fountain to see it at night.
Day 3
Travel to Vatican City and visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museum. Be inspired by the magnificent Sistine Chapel - home of Michelangelo’s Last Judgment and other impressive works. Also visit the Spanish Steps, the well-preserved Pantheon, and Piazza Navonna.
Day 4
Depart from Rome and travel through the Italian countryside to Venice. On our first day in this enchanting city we will experience St. Mark’s Square, many unique and famous stores, and other important historical and cultural sites. You may even have a chance to take an evening gondola ride through the canals on your own!
Day 5
Continue to shop and explore on the island of Venice. After visiting the Basilica of St. Marks, opt to tour the Doges Palace or a famous glass-blowing shop. In the early evening board an overnight train bound for Paris!
Day 6
After arriving in Paris, we will visit Les Invalides, where Napoleon is buried and explore the French Army Museum. Later, we will visit the famous Notre Dame cathedral and stroll along the riverwalks of the Seine.
Day 7
Today we will visit Place de la Concorde and have lunch on famous Avenue des Champs Elysees. Later we will visit the Arch de Triumph and then head to the top of the Eiffel Tower for a magnificent view of the city! You may also opt to view the Moulin Rouge lit up by night!
Day 8
In the morning we will visit the impressive Louvre Museum, home to the Mona Lisa and many other inspiring works of art. In the afternoon we will visit the Sacre Coeur cathedral and view Paris from above. Last chance for shopping and sight-seeing.
Day 9
After eight unforgettable days, return home from Paris!
