New York City Theatre Trip - 4 Days
Day 1
Depart early in the morning and arrive at your NYC hotel in the middle of Manhattan in late afternoon/early evening. We want you to experience Manhattan at its best, so we have arranged for you to stay right in the heart of the city!
After checking in, we will have a welcome/orientation/safety session with our guide.
Next, we’ll go on a walking tour of Midtown which will include Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, NBC Studios and much more.
Day 2
Visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to learn about the waves of immigrants that came ashore from 1892-1924.
Since September 11, this experience will be even more meaningful, especially after viewing Ground Zero.
Other offerings in this area include a visit to historic Trinity Church and Federal Hall (where George Washington gave his first Inaugural Address) as well as sites in the Financial District including Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange.
Continue the afternoon with an “urban hike” through China Town and Little Italy.
Evening Broadway Show!
Day 3
Stroll beautiful Central Park this morning.
Next, tour Lincoln Center, the heart of New York’s performing arts. You may also attend Wednesdays at One, the lunchtime concert series by Julliard performers.
Experience the best of shopping in the Big Apple on 5th Avenue and Macy’s Department Store.
Continue your day with a visit to South Street Seaport, preserving New York’s historic seafaring tradition.
After dinner, ascend to the top of the Empire State Building and Observatory, still one of the Top Ten Tallest Buildings in the world!
Day 4
Get up early and try for an appearance on the Today Show in Rockefeller Center!
After some last minute shopping, depart for home in the late morning.
