Juarez, Mexico
From the moment your group steps across the border, they will experience the huge disparity between our culture and theirs, from the vast differences in the standards of living to what’s really important in life. Juarez is the fourth largest city in Mexico with over two and a half million people in this sprawling city, which borders El Paso. Poverty is pervasive here and is even more noticeable with the United States only a glance away. More than a trip, this adventure will be an ideal place for your group to struggle with becoming culturally sensitive, developing authentic relationships with others different than themselves, and seeing how they can make a significant impact in the life of someone else, even through the smallest acts of service.
