Rome and Florence - 7 Days
Day 1
Journey to Europe. Board your overnight flight and arrive in Rome the next morning.
Day 2
Begin to explore the many sites in the Eternal City of Rome! Our time will be spent visiting the 2000 year-old Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, the Arch of Titus, the ancient Roman Forum, and the Mammertine Prison.
Day 3
Travel to Vatican City and visit St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museum. Be inspired by the magnificent Sistine Chapel - home of Michelangelo’s Last Judgment and other impressive works. Also visit the Spanish Steps, the well-preserved Pantheon, and Piazza Navonna.
Day 4
Travel through the beautiful Italian countryside to Florence. View Ghiberti’s Gates of Paradise and visit the famous Cathedral of Florence called “the Duomo”. Walk along the shops in the area of the Ponte Vecchio and other famous shopping areas of Florence.
Day 5
Begin our day by touring the Galleria dell Accademia, where you will see the famous statue of Michelango's David. Opt to climb the tower leading up to the top of the Duomo for an impressive view of Florence. In the afternoon we will tour the Uffizi museum to enjoy more spectacular Renaissance artwork. In the evening, you will have more time for relaxing and shopping.
Day 6
Depart from Florence in the morning for Rome.
In the afternoon we will visit San Pietro in Vincoli where we will view Michelangelo’s masterpiece Moses.
Visit the Piazza del Popolo and view Rome from above. Travel to the famous Trevi Fountain to see it at night.
Day 7
Depart for home.
