Madrid - 7 Days
Day 1
Journey to Europe. Board your overnight flight and arrive in Madrid on the following morning, at which time your guide will meet you.
Day 2
Enjoy a walking tour of Madrid that will include the Plaza de Espana with the monuments to Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. We will also see the historic Plaza Mayor and the Puerta del Sol.
Day 3
Visit the 18th-century Royal Palace and the Prado Museum which houses many works of famous European artists, including Goya, Velazquez, and El Greco. Free time for shopping and exploring Madrid on your own.
Day 4
Today we travel north to Segovia, where we will visit the massive historic cathedral, the last gothic building constructed in Spain. We will also tour the incredible Roman aqueduct. Explore the historic streets of Segovia on your own, and then return to Madrid.
Days 5, 6
View the 18th Century Royal Palace, the Parliament, Oriente Square, and the Alcala Gate. Additional free time for shopping and sight-seeing. Opt for a Flamenco dance performance in the evening.
Day 7
Depart for home after six unforgettable days
