Costa Rican Adventure – 6 Days (with Manuel Antonio)
Ziplining, Horseback Riding, Snorkeling, Hotsprings, and Fun at the Beach!
Day 1
Arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica and check into the hotel. After orientation, explore the city of San Jose.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will travel to Fortuna and Mt. Arenal, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Along the way stop by Zarcero to visit the renowned church located there. In the evening enjoy the natural hot springs at the foot of the volcano. On a clear night, we will get to see the mighty fireworks of Arenal!
Day 3
Today we get to go horseback riding through the rainforest. Also, take your turn flying high through the forest canopy on ziplines! Then travel out to the Pacific coast.
Days 4, 5
Take an excursion along the shoreline to the 716-acre Manuel Antonio National Park, known for its dense jungle vegetation and abundant wildlife (lots and lots of monkeys!). While here, we will enjoy the surf and the white sand beaches, and enjoy a Catamaran Cruise (optional) to see the incredible marine wildlife (snorkeling included). Students also have the option for additional snorkeling or kayaking along the breath-taking Pacific coastline.
Day 6
Depart for home after six incredible days!
