China - Beijing and Shanghai

Days 1, 2:
Depart for China! After crossing the International Date Line arrive in Beijing late afternoon of day 2.


Day 3:
Morning tours of Tian An Men Square and the famous Forbidden City. In the afternoon we will tour Hutong and the Lamas Temple.


Day 4:
Depart in the morning for the Great Wall where we will have a kite competition on the Great Wall.
In the afternoon visit the Ming Tombs following in the evening by a Beijing Opera or Kung-Fu Show. Roasted duck dinner.


Day 5:
Continue our time in Beijing with tours of the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven.
Transfer to Beijing train station for our night train to Shanghai.


Day 6:
In Shanghai meet your English speaking local guide and transfer to your hotel.
Morning visit the Nanjing road and bund. This afternoon we will visit the well-know Yu garden and have free time in old town.


Day 7:
In the morning tour the Shanghai museum and the Jade Buddha Temple.
This afternoon travel to Suzhou and visit the Huqiu Pogoda. Evening walk in the old town along the channels.


Day 8:
This morning we will visit the Humble Administrator Garden and Master Garden as well as a local silk factory. After lunch transfer to the town of Zhouzhuang. Visit the old town and boat on the channels before returning back to Shanghai.
On our last night enjoy an acrobatic show following dinner.


Day 9:
Free time in the morning before transferring to Shanghai airport by Maglev train for our flight home!
